From December 5th to 8th, the final of the 2nd Midwifery Skills Competition of the 2025 Belt and Road Forum (BRF) & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition was held at Puyang Medical College in Henan Province. The event attracted 66 contestants from 33 universities across 20 provinces nationwide to compete on the same stage.

As one of the co-organizers, Shanghai Honglian Group provided professional competition equipment and dispatched a team to offer on-site technical support, ensuring the smooth running of the competition.

The four-day competition combined theoretical assessments with practical operations to comprehensively evaluate contestants’ core competencies. As a team event, it included two tracks: first-stage labor care with normal delivery and newborn care, focusing on midwifery skills and obstetric clinical thinking. Contestants completed all tasks in an orderly manner, demonstrating solid theoretical foundations and outstanding professional qualities.
